This Solar Charge Controller is multifunctional, comparing with our IR-A series, this model can meet your requirements to charge different kinds of batteries.
You also can adjust the load working hour based on Dust to Dawn mode.
■ Safety Instructions:
A) Make sure your battery has enough voltage for the controller to recognize the battery type before first installation. Too low or dead voltage battery won’t activate the solar charge controller
B) The solar charge controller can be charged for lead acid batteries (Sealed, Flooded, AGM, GEL),3S or 6S lithium ion and 4S or 8S lifepo4 batteries, but you need to confirm battery type as quick as possible after controller is activated.
Suggest to set battery type and working mode by standing as close as possible to the controller
C) The battery cable should be as short as possible to minimize loss
D) The solar charge controller is only suitable for regulating solar panels. Never connect another charging source to the charge controller
E) Please keep it in cool and well-ventilated place to maintain good heat dissipation
■ How to connect solar system with the controller:
Step 1: Connect the battery to the solar charge controller firstly- plus and minus
Step 2: Connect the load to the controller secondly.
Step 3: Connect the solar panel to the controller finally - plus and minus.
NOTE: The reverse order applies when de-installing.
